Bolton Wanderers home fixtures to go ahead as planned

4 April 2019

The EFL welcomes the fact Bolton’s forthcoming home games are now going ahead following a decision by the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) to remove a prohibition notice that had been placed on the Club.

The notice has been withdrawn after the Club had satisfied the SAG that it could meet its obligations under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.

As a result of today’s decision Bolton’s forthcoming home fixtures against Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough can go ahead as planned.

EFL Chief Executive Shaun Harvey said: “We are pleased that a resolution has been found and that the games will now take place as scheduled.

“I would like to thank the members of the Safety Advisory Group for helping bring this matter to a positive conclusion.”
