The latest EFL selections have been announced for live coverage on Sky Sports, with nine fixtures across the festive period in the Sky Bet Championship.

Kicking off the latest selections will be Sheffield United’s eagerly anticipated fixture against fellow promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion at Bramall Lane on Friday 14 December, before Bristol City host the high-flying Canaries the following day in a 5:30pm kick-off at Ashton Gate.

The weekend is rounded off in style as the Sky Sports cameras travel from Bristol to Pride Park, with Derby County hosting Nottingham Forest in a fascinating East-Midlands derby clash between the promotion-chasing pair in a 7:45pm start.

Sky Bet Championship table-toppers Leeds United are also in action during the busy Christmas period, as they travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa on Sunday 23 December, before another away trip against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground brings in the New Year on Tuesday 01 January in a 3pm kick-off.

The latest selections are rounded off at The Den, as Millwall host Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn Rovers side in a 5:30pm start on Saturday 12 January.

As with 2017/18, the EFL and broadcast partner Sky Sports have again committed to give Clubs and supporters at least five weeks’ notice ahead of any EFL League matches being selected for live television coverage.

In a small change to the policy from 2017/18, the EFL has outlined the dates when any changes will be announced to the public via the EFL’s digital and social channels, rather than the dates when Clubs will be initially notified.  The dates will again ensure any fixture changes are announced with a minimum of five weeks’ notice of the fixture taking place in order to give EFL supporters as much time as is possible to allow for any alterations to travel plans that may be required.
