Matchday 19 provided more thrills, spills and late drama... but the action doesn't stop there - Midweek football returns to the EFL and Sky Bet League Two for a full fixture list in Matchday 20...
Table toppers to continue march towards promotion?
Leading the way in League Two courtesy of Stevenage's late comeback against MK Dons at the weekend, Lincoln City travel to Greater Manchester to face Oldham Athletic this evening.
Winless in their last seven visits to the Latics, you would have to go back to December 1949 for the last time Lincoln came away victorious from Boundary Park.
Both sides have just one win in their last five league fixtures, however, Oldham have won back-to-back home league games in their search to latch onto the Play-Off contenders.
A win for the home side could see them rise to 11th, and more important within three points of the top seven.
Goals expected at the New Lawn?
Forest Green Rovers and Colchester United met for the first time in the EFL last season, with the U's triumphing by an aggregate score of 2-7.
If we can take anything away from that statistic, then goals could be in order. Colchester currently occupy the third and final automatic promotion sport, but are winless in their last two, where as the home side registered an impressive 2-1 victory at Carlisle United at the weekend.
An interesting stat to take away, Colchester have not conceded a single goal in the first 30 minutes this season, the only team in League Two to achieve the feat.
MK Dons to respond to weekend disappointment?
Paul Tisdale's Dons were all set to take their place atop of the League Two standings on Saturday afternoon were it not for two Stevenage goals in the final five minutes handing them their first defeat in 11 league fixtures.
Their opposition today comes in the form of Morecambe, who after a difficult start to the season, have picked up some vital points in previous weeks. The Shrimps have won three of their last five away games in League Two, as many as they managed in their previous 29 before that.
However, they will need to be at their best to continue that recent run, with MK Dons the only League Two side currently unbeaten at home this season - winning six and drawing three.
The Keith Curle 'Northampton Town effect' shows no sign of slowing
It has been quite the start to life at Northampton Town for Keith Curle...
Taking over the Club when hovering just above the relegation places, Curle has reinvigorated the Cobblers to mid-table safety - and that could further improve this evening.
Over the last five games, Northampton have the best record in League Two alongside Mansfield Town, as they prepare to travel to South Wales to face Newport County.
Despite a slight dip in recent form, Newport have won nine of their previous 12 games at Rodney Parade, including their most recent victory against promotion rivals Colchester United.
Neal Ardley to claim first three points?
An 88th minute Morecambe equaliser denied Ardley a first three points as Notts County manager, however a quick turnaround gives the Magpies an opportunity to rectify that this evening.
County host Carlisle United, a side they are unbeaten against in three league games. However, having failed to score at Meadow Lane in four of their nine home fixtures so far this season, this could be set to be a cagey affair.
The visitors have won four of their previous six away games in League, scoring at least twice in four of those games
Around the grounds
Mansfield Town have only been beaten once in 24 league games stretching back to April, with forward Tyler Walker a key part of that run. He has contributed 8 goals and 2 assists so far this season, more than anybody else at the Club, as the prepare to host Crawley Town.
Unbeaten in their last four home games, Grimsby Town host a Tranmere Rovers side who have lost their last two away games. However, in James Norwood, Tranmere have English football's top goalscorer this season - he has seven goals in his previous six games, and 13 in total.
Winless in five league games against Port Vale, Yeovil Town host the Valiants as both sides look to bounce back from defeats last time out, whilst Swindon Town host a Stevenage side on a high after their fantastic comeback win against MK Dons.
Elsewhere, Exeter City host a Macclesfield Town side who claimed only their second victory of the season at the weekend against Yeovil Town, Bury play welcome Cheltenham Town to Gigg Lane and Cambridge United, who have only lost one of their previous six games, travel to Crewe Alexandra.
