He said: “Me and my girlfriend went travelling last year and I took my Swindon Town shirt with me. I am part of the Great Western Reds supporters group and I was wearing my shirt in Cambodia when I asked her to marry me!
“It was the cleanest thing I had available. Obviously she wasn’t best pleased.
“I remember getting the phone call from Thai Airways and I almost didn’t believe it at first. When we were travelling our aim was to spend more time in Bangkok, but due to a motorcycle accident we couldn’t.
“I am so grateful to Thai Airways for the opportunity. We are planning to use the tickets in November and visit Vietnam whilst we are there.”
