The April nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award are:
Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)
Held his nerve amid the jitters in the League Two play-off places to guide his side to automatic promotion with 10 points from five games, include the comeback win at Chesterfield which secured Wycombe’s ticket to League One.
John Coleman (Accrington Stanley)
Can he make it a hat-trick of Manager awards in successive months? Steering Stanley to promotion and the League Two title, garnering 16 points from seven games and with a 11-3 goal differential ought to help his cause.
Michael Jolley (Grimsby Town)
Taking over a side that was winless in three months and plummeting fast, Jolley trusted his instincts. Improved displays led to a vital win over Chesterfield, part of a 10-point haul from five games which ensured the Mariners’ safety.
Nathan Jones (Luton Town)
Reaped his reward for continuing to encourage his attacking side to express themselves as they collected 13 points from five unbeaten games and sealed the automatic promotion place they have occupied since the autumn.
The winner will be announced on Friday 4th May.
