A second-half goal from Carlton Morris was enough to send Shrewsbury Town through to next month's Checkatrade Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium.
A 1-0 semi-final success over Yeovil Town means they now will take on Lincoln City in next month's showpiece, which will take place on Sunday 8th April.
Shrewsbury, flying high in League One, were the better side for much of the game but were wasteful in front of goal in the opening 45 minutes.
It was just after the hour when the deadlock was broken, with Morris heading home Shaun Whalley's corner to put the hosts in control.
The Glovers did respond but failed to break through, with the defence holding firm and goalkeeper Dean Henderson making a crucial stoppage-time save to deny Otis Khan.
