Sheffield Wednesday have appointed Jos Luhukay as the new man in charge at Hillsborough.
The 54-year-old Dutchman has made his name in Germany, achieving success in Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, becoming somewhat of a promotion expert in the nation's second tier.
Now, he's tasked with mirroring the feat in English football with the Owls, who have fallen short in back-to-back Championship Play-Off campaigns.
Luhukay said in a statement on the club's website: “Sheffield Wednesday is exactly the exciting challenge for which I have been waiting.
“We shall now work together with all the staff at the club and the fans, to stabilise the team, and following that, improve it step by step with discipline, effort, commitment and creativity to take it up.”
His first task will be Friday night's Steel City derby against fierce rivals Sheffield United.
