Gillingham youngster Aaron Simpson has been recognised for his community work by earning the ‘young achiever’ award from the Medway African Caribbean Society.
The 18-year-old, who has made three appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy this season, regularly visits schools in the local area, aiming to inspire young people to get involved in sports.
