Leeds United have confirmed the appointment of Paul Heckingbottom as the club's new head coach.
Heckingbottom arrives from Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, four days after signing a new contract with the Tykes.
The 40-year-old takes over from the recently departed Thomas Christiansen, and will take charge this weekend when the Whites travel to another Yorkshire side, Sheffield United.
