WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett was in attendance at Tranmere Rovers’ Day of Disabilities football session on Monday evening.
The former World Heavyweight and Intercontinental champion went to the Recreation Centre, located behind the Essar Kop Stand at Prenton Park to meet participants in the community’s disability football session.
He even swapped sports for the evening and tried his hand at playing football with the participants, managing to get himself on the scoresheet from the penalty spot, before handing out signed memorabilia to all of the players.
Jeff’s connection with Rovers started during the summer after he was made aware of the side through one of the club’s directors – he has since been keeping a close eye on the Sky Bet League Two side.
He has even been pictured exercising at the world-famous Gold’s Gym in Tennessee, USA, wearing the side’s home strip.
