Youth Development Midlands Regional Manager Dave Regis will leave the EFL to take up the role of Academy Manager at Sky Bet League Two side Notts County.
Regis has been at the EFL for six years and will re-join the Magpies as Academy Manager, the 54-year-old is heading back to Meadow Lane for the fourth time in his career.
The forward played for Notts County for a single season in 1990/91 before returning on-loan in 1997, after retiring from the game he took up a coaching role in the club’s youth academy.
Since calling time on his playing career, Regis has also coached in the youth department at Nottingham Forest, he was also the Head of Education & Welfare Manager at Charlton Athletic before moving on to work for the Premier League as an Elite Player Performance Plan auditor.
