The March nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award are:
Patrick Bamford (Middlesbrough)
Six goals in five games for the forward who has finally rediscovered his silky smooth touch in front of goal. At his confident best, he makes scoring look effortless - witness his hat-trick against Leeds and a sumptuous volley against Wolves.
Shaun Hutchinson (Millwall)
The leader of a Millwall defence which kept three clean sheets and conceded just two goals all month. Positionally superb, dominant in the air and a threat at set pieces, as he proved to earn a point with the equaliser against Sunderland.
Sean Maguire (Preston North End)
A stunning return after four months out with a serious hamstring injury. The Irishman’s first five games back – two as a substitute – brought him five goals and showed that he has lost none of his positional or predatory instincts.
Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham)
Has provided the missing piece of the Fulham puzzle since joining on loan in January. His strength and ability to hold the ball up, bringing teammates into play, have been matched by his finishing ability with five goals in as many games.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th April.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
