The March nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award are:
Karlan Ahearne-Grant (Crawley Town)
Five goals in five games for the mobile 20-year-old forward on loan from Charlton. Always willing to run with the ball, commit defenders and shoot firmly from the edge of the area, as he did to score twice in the 2-2 draw at Carlisle.
Mohamed Eisa (Cheltenham Town)
A second successive nomination for Eisa whose four goals in five games all came in the away victories at Swindon and Crawley, where he also won a penalty. Constantly on the move, he is calmness personified in front of goal.
Adam El-Abd (Wycombe Wanderers)
Wycombe’s unbeaten month has been largely down to improved defensive displays in which the experienced El-Abd has been pivotal. His gladiatorial presence as captain ensured that three clean sheets were kept during March.
Ollie Palmer (Lincoln City)
Palmer spent just 108 minutes on the pitch in March, but what an impact he made. A substitute in all five games, he scored in the final 10 minutes three times, earning his side a point at Mansfield and all three against Exeter.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th April.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
