The March nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:
Neil Harris (Millwall)
Kept driving the Millwall juggernaut forward with 13 points gained from a possible 15. Most impressively, he has maintained his players’ focus as they eye the play-offs, while continuing to improve them individually and as a team.
Slavisa Jokanovic (Fulham)
His side made light of an awkward-looking March fixture list, beating fellow promotion contenders Derby, Sheffield United and Preston to collect 13 points from five games. And they did it in his swashbuckling style.
Nuno Espirito Santo (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Four wins in five games doesn’t tell the full story of a month in which his side’s resolve and trust in his passing style were tested to the limit by defeat at Aston Villa and having to hold on at Middlesbrough with nine men.
Neil Warnock (Cardiff City)
Pressure, what pressure? Promotion looms closer after a perfect month against teams beginning with ‘B’ – Barnsley, Birmingham, Brentford and Burton. Judging by their 11-5 goal differential in four games, he has his players enjoying themselves.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th April.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
