The March nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award are:
Paul Cook (Wigan Athletic)
His side made light of a hectic schedule, playing catch-up after their FA Cup heroics. Two exciting draws with promotion rivals Blackburn and Scunthorpe were followed by four wins with a 9-0 goal differential to go top again.
Keith Hill (Rochdale)
No team played more games in March than Rochdale, which makes a haul of 12 points from seven games particularly striking. Hill masterminded wins over promotion chasers Rotherham and Shrewsbury, juggling his squad superbly.
Dan Micciche (Milton Keynes Dons)
As a new manager losing six and drawing two of your first eight games, it is easy to panic. Micciche didn’t and stuck to his principles of fluent, passing football. His side responded, picking up 10 points from five games.
John Sheridan (Fleetwood Town)
The relegation firefighter is at it again. When he arrived at Highbury, Fleetwood were floundering. Thanks to Sheridan’s skills of organisation and motivation, 11 points were gained from five unbeaten games, with safety all but assured.
The winner will be announced on Friday 6th April.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
