EFL and FSF call on supporters to 'Stand Up for Choice'

30 April 2018

‘Stand up for Choice’ is a joint campaign being undertaken by the EFL and the Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF).

The campaign is designed to give you, as a supporter of an EFL Club, the opportunity to have a say on whether you would be interested in having the choice to sit or stand on match days at your stadium.
Approximately 18 million supporters make their way through the turnstiles of EFL Clubs over the course of a season, and ’Stand up for Choice’ will seek to understand the strength of feeling on this issue.
The EFL has had a clear mandate from Clubs to pursue change since 2014 and is keen to have an active dialogue with supporter groups, safety authorities and senior Government Ministers to achieve a review of existing legislation so that Clubs have a choice on this matter and fans get the match day experience they want - whether that be seated or standing on terraces.
The data from the survey will be collated and presented to the relevant Government and safety authorities to provide clear evidence in support of an informed debate on this issue.
This is your chance to ensure your opinion is heard and the EFL is keen to understand your view, so please get involved.
Supporters have until 10 May to complete the short survey, which can be accessed here

“Our clubs and their fans should be part of the solution.”
