Blackburn Rovers have been promoted from Sky Bet League One, following a 1-0 win at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
It was fitting that captain Charlie Mulgrew netted the goal to seal an immediate return to the second tier, converting a corner from League One Player of the Season, Bradley Back.
The result leaves Tony Mowbray’s men seven points clear of Shrewsbury Town with two games remaining, and a point behind Wigan Athletic as the race for the League One title looks set to go down to the wire.
