The EFL weekend got under way on Friday night, with Queens Park Rangers and Fulham doing battle at Loftus Road.
It would be the latter who prevailed, as Slaviša Jokanović’s players triumphed 2-1 against the Hoops.
Ryan Fredericks opened the scoring five minutes before the interval, with his right-footed effort from the edge of the area taking a deflection and ending up in the back of the hosts’ net.

Queens Park Rangers pushed for a route back into proceedings and, after the break they went close through Luke Freeman, whose 65th minute free-kick flew inches wide of the post.
Then came Fulham’s chance to double their advantage, as Neeskens Kebano was fouled inside the penalty area. Rui Fonte took the subsequent kick, but he sent the ball over Alex Smithies’ crossbar.
Moments later however, Fonte teed up Stefan Johansen, who placed the ball past Smithies and into the back of the net.
