The EFL has landed a new partnership with a world-leading airline, with Thai Airways becoming an Official Supporter of the EFL.
The new agreement will see Thai Airways have a digital and in-stadia presence at every one of the five EFL Finals to be held at Wembley Stadium throughout the 2017/18 campaign.
Last season’s matches were attended by more than 310,000 people and broadcast in over 190 countries to hundreds of millions of people worldwide, providing a national and international platform to showcase EFL football at its most dramatic and exciting.
The reach of the EFL will enable Thai Airways to engage with football fans at home and abroad, and develop a strong association with some of the biggest events in the football calendar.
The partnership is a product of the recent activity undertaken in Asia by the EFL – including August’s Asian Summit in China – coupled with the growing relationship and connections with Carabao Cup title partner, Carabao Energy Drink, who are based in Thailand.
The EFL has also signed a number of high profile broadcast deals in the region in recent months, including Super Sports in China and MCOT in Thailand.
