4 May 2017

The nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for April 2017.

Carlos Carvalhal (Sheffield Wednesday)

Wednesday cantered into the Play-Offs under Carvalhal's calm leadership and direction, which allowed his side to gain five wins by a single-goal margin in their haul of 19 points from seven unbeaten games in April.

Nigel Clough (Burton Albion)

Completed the task he had set himself by guiding Burton to Sky Bet Championship survival. The passion he has instilled in his players showed in wins over promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town and Leeds United, as they collected 11 points from seven games.

Lee Johnson (Bristol City)

After seeing his side lose their first two games of April by a combined 0-7 scoreline, Johnson galvanised his players superbly, inspiring them to four wins in an unbeaten five-game run which included securing safety at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Slavisa Jokanovic (Fulham)

Has created the most dynamic attacking side in the division, who climbed into the play-off positions in April by sticking to their principles and scoring more goals than the opposition. The result was a haul of 16 points and 17 goals from seven games.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
