The Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final proved once again that the margin between agony and ecstasy can be incredibly narrow.
The decisive penalty shoot-out that sent Huddersfield Town to the Premier League was as close as the 120 minutes that went before it.
From the eyes of rival fans, watching the game at Wembley, the emotion and jeopardy was clear to see, with such a huge prize at stake.
Reading fan Paul Todd, and Huddersfield Town fan Danny Shaw, were hooked up to heart rate monitors and filmed for a Facebook Live broadcast on SportBible’s “BallWatchers” feature.
As chances came and went in the game, the tension grew for both fans and by the end of extra-time, despite there still being no goals, the match had grown into an epic battle.
What followed was a rollercoaster of emotions piled into ten penalty kicks, with only one winner.
