5 July 2017

Preston North End's appointment of Alex Neil, following the recent departure of Simon Grayson to Sunderland, means that all 72 EFL clubs now have a manager at the helm ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The new Black Cats boss was sitting in the top 10 of longest-serving managers prior to his Deepdale departure, but now takes his place in 70th.

Oxford United's new boss, Pep Clotet, splits the two in 71st.
