Sky Bet Championship - December Goal of the Month nominations:
Tom Cairney (Fulham) v Wolves – 3rd December
This was a goal straight from the training ground. Stefan Johansen guided his free-kick on to the left foot of Cairney, whose impeccably-timed volley flew past Wolves keeper Harry Burgoyne.
Jamie Ward (Burton Albion) v Aston Villa – 26th December
John Brayford’s cross was curling away from goal but instead of deterring him, it set Ward up for an acrobatic scissors kick volley against his former club.
Luke Freeman (Bristol City) v Ipswich Town – 3rd December
Freeman demonstrated superb technique to backpedal as he saw a defensive header come his way. The timing of his left-volley as he backed away was staggering.

Sky Bet League One - December Goal of the Month nominations:
Sammy Ameobi (Bolton Wanderers) v Gillingham – 12th December
Picking the ball up in midfield, Ameobi strode forward, then stepped inside on the edge of the box and clipped an unstoppable shot into the far corner.
Ian Henderson (Rochdale) v Chesterfield – 26th December
A prime example of vision and skill coming together. Henderson knew exactly what to do with Oliver Rathbone’s pass – curl it languidly, first time, into the top corner.
Gwion Edwards (Peterborough United) v Chesterfield – 10th December
Edwards set off at pace as the ball dropped to him near the touchline. Dribbling past defenders, he then unleashed an angled drive which arrowed into the net.

Sky Bet League Two - December Goal of the Month nominations:
Shaun Brisley (Carlisle United) v Yeovil Town – 17th December
Running on to a looping headed clearance 30 yards out, Brisley let fly with a sweetly struck volley which flew over Yeovil keeper Artur Krysiak and dipped under the bar.
Fraser Franks (Stevenage) v Doncaster Rovers – 3rd December
A pinpoint angled pass from Michael Tonge was controlled on his knee and on the run by Franks, who then struck an unstoppable volley inside the near post.
Kal Naismith (Portsmouth) v Grimsby Town – 10th December
A beautifully struck free-kick from Naismith 25 yards out that traced a faultless arc as it curled over the Grimsby wall and into the corner of the net.

The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on skysports.com.
The shortlist for the poll is decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, Sky Bet Sponsorship Manager David Tweed and EFL Head of Marketing Communications Andy Dodd.
