There is plenty to watch out for in the EFL this Tuesday night, and here’s what’s coming up across the three divisions.
There’s three fixtures to look forward to from the Sky Bet Championship this Tuesday night, including what could be a pivotal clash a the top.
Top two stand-off
It’s a match many have been anticipating for some time, and you can catch it live on Sky Sports.
Newcastle United and their Toon Army following travel to the south coast to face top of the table Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Seagulls boast the best home record in the division, picking up 13 wins from 17 fixtures, whilst Newcastle, who are unbeaten in their last eight, have won an EFL-high 11 matches on the road this season.
The action gets under way at 7:45 in front of the cameras at the Amex – a fixture not to be missed!

Aston Villa face Bristol City at Villa Park, in a fixture between two teams who have been out of form recently.
However, the Villans halted their nine-game winless run at the weekend against Derby County, and Lee Johnson's Robins will be buoyant from their draw at St James’ Park on Saturday.
The other Sky Bet Championship fixture sees Derby travel to Blackburn Rovers, and it sees Tony Mowbray take charge at Ewood Park for the first time, against a Rams outfit without a win in five.

Back to winning ways?
It’s getting tight in the chase for promotion from Sky Bet League One, so now is not the time to be suffering struggles in form.
Second-placed Scunthorpe United have cause for concern without a win in five, which has allowed Sheffield United to race seven points clear at the top, and third-placed Fleetwood Town to pull level with the Iron on 61 points.
Graham Alexander’s side face AFC Wimbledon at Glanford Park this evening, with an opportunity to put breathing space between themselves and the Cod Army.
Streaky Lions
At the other end of the form spectrum, Millwall are without a loss in 13 league fixtures, a run that has seen them rise to seventh in the division, just a point outside the Play-Off places.
They’ve played out two goalless draws in their last two fixtures though, and face Peterborough United tonight. The Posh are just two points off Neil Harris’ side in eighth, and defeated Rochdale on Saturday.

Six in a row?
Wycombe Wanderers have lost their last five Sky Bet League two fixtures in a slip in form which sees them sitting 11th, four points short of the Play-Off spots.
The Chairboys, who not too long ago were enjoying an 11-match unbeaten league streak, have lost to Stevenage, Crewe, Carlisle, Colchester, and Crawley over recent weeks, scoring just three goals across the five fixtures.
Tonight, they travel to Lancashire to face Accrington Stanley who are unbeaten in three, but still just two points above the drop-zone.
Tight at the top!
The race for promotion from Sky Bet League Two is hotting up and, with some teams hitting bumps in form, it’s becoming a close-run thing.
Doncaster Rovers are still top of the pile, but their run of five games without a win has seen their lead cut to just three points, with second-placed Plymouth Argyle also boasting a game in hand.
However, Rovers aren’t the only team short of form. Argyle haven’t won in three, Carlisle have lost two of their last four, and Exeter City have stalled with three draws since their winning run ended against Plymouth.
The form side towards the top of the league is Portsmouth, who have won three of their last four and face Morecambe this evening. A win could see them enter the top three, if the Cumbrians lose at Cheltenham Town.
