Alex Neil (Norwich City)
Refused to buckle under the pressure of a poor pre-Christmas run. Maintained belief in his players and principles to inspire a nine-point haul from four January games that lifted Norwich back to the fringes of the play-off positions.
Jaap Stam (Reading)
Four victories from six games solidified Reading’s place in the play-off positions and underscored the patience that Stam preaches to his players - never more apparent than the win at Bristol City from 2-0 down with 18 minutes left.
Neil Warnock (Cardiff City)
His side collected 12 points from six games in a busy January in which his messages began to sink into his players. Organisation and spirit have been evident in all his teams. Both were obvious in Cardiff’s 3-2 comeback win at Bristol City.
