Three Friday night fixtures got Matchday 23 in the EFL up and running, with action from the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two.
At Carrow Road, Brentford picked up a 2-1 victory against Norwich City, with Lasse Vibe scoring twice for the visitors.
The Bees got their noses in front via Vibe, who finished into the back of the net following work from Romaine Sawyers.

He was at it again minutes later and Sawyers was involved once more. This time, the ball was slotted through to the Danish number 21, and he did the rest — finishing clinically.
Norwich did manage to grab a goal late on, but Nelson Oliveira’s strike wasn’t enough to see them find a route back into proceedings.
Friday’s first encounter came from Highbury Stadium, with Gillingham visiting Fleetwood Town, who hadn’t earned a league triumph since the end of October.
It was the men from the MEMS Priestfield Stadium that took all three points, as they secured a 2-0 victory.
The Gills raced into a first-half lead, with respective strikes from Josh Parker and Luke O’Neill giving them a commanding advantage at the interval.

After the interval, the Cod Army looked for a route back into proceedings but, despite the pressure they applied, it was Steve Lovell’s side who ran out winners.
The Ricoh Arena was the setting for Coventry City’s clash against Wycombe Wanderers, with the Sky Blues earning a 3-2 triumph.
Mark Robins’ hosts got their noses in front in some style, as captain Michael Doyle spectacularly curled the ball home from around 45 yards out, before Mark McNulty doubled his side’s advantage.

However, two strikes either side of the break from Dan Scarr and Joe Jacobson brought the Chairboys level.
McNulty soon got his second though and, what would prove to be the winning strike, as he dispatched a spot-kick make it 3-2 to the hosts.
