Player of the Month: November nominees

5 December 2017

The Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month nominees for November are:

Kristian Dennis (Chesterfield)

A late starter in the EFL, 27-year-old Dennis is a man in a hurry. After scoring in three successive games, the striker, who likes to drop deep and move defences around, then provided a timely assist in the derby draw at Mansfield.

Zander Diamond (Mansfield Town)

His return from injury coincided with an upturn in Mansfield’s form. A defensive lynchpin in three clean sheets, he cleared off the line with the score 0-0 at Port Vale then scored twice in the 4-0 win, before heading in a late equaliser against Chesterfield.

Christian Doidge (Forest Green Rovers)

Six goals in four games – all but one of Forest Green’s total in November - for the goal poacher extraordinaire. Those who think of the 6’2” forward as simply good in the air should think again — only one of his goals was a header.

Dan Potts (Luton Town)

In a side packed with goals, Potts is holding his own from left-back, courtesy of his superb heading ability. Solid defensively once more, the defender scored in three successive games, notably with a brilliant diving header against Carlisle.

Winners will be announced on Friday 8th December 2017

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
