The Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month nominees for November are:
Steve Evans (Mansfield Town)
The tag of pre-season promotion favourites – seemingly a burden in the early autumn – began to fit more easily when Evans inspired them to a 10-point haul from four games, which included three clean sheets.
Nathan Jones (Luton Town)
After scoring 13 goals in five games in October, his attack-minded side were even more irresistible in November, finding the net 14 times in four matches, collecting 10 points and sweeping Cambridge aside 7-0 in the process.
Jack Lester (Chesterfield)
It is hard to over-estimate new manager Lester’s impact on a side which all but doubled its season’s tally with eight points from four unbeaten games. The Spireites boss has cast away the doubts and instilled fun and freedom in his players.
Kevin Nolan (Notts County)
Maintaining his side’s early season gallop now their play is no longer a surprise to opponents. Nolan has instilled a steely determination to find late goals, notably in the 2-1 win over Colchester, and pick up eight points from four unbeaten games.
Winners will be announced on Friday 8th December 2017
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
