There were some superb strikes in the EFL over the weekend of 8th-9th December, but we narrowed it down to one from each division. Here they are...
Jamie Paterson - Bristol City v Sheffield United
The first goal of the weekend, Paterson picked up the ball and showed quick footwork before unleashing a venomous strike to put the Robins on their way to victory.

Shaun Whalley - Shrewsbury Town v Milton Keynes Dons
The Shrews have been on the wrong end of some stunning strikes recently, but their fortunes were reversed with Whalley's wondrous strike whistling into the far corner.

Matt Dolan - Newport County v Carlisle United
It was some afternoon for Dolan, who had already scored one fine free-kick. His second was even more exquisite, finding the top corner 13 minutes later to earn the Exiles a point.
