On Sunday, the early kick-off saw Northampton Town extend their unbeaten league run to 30 games by beating MK Dons 3-2.
Gillingham hosted Sheffield United in the second live game on Sky Sports. The Blades made it two league wins in two thanks to a 90th-minute spot-kick from Billy Sharp to win 2-1.

Luton Town replaced Morecambe at the top of the Sky Bet League Two table following a convincing 4-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters took advantage of the Shrimps’ 2-1 defeat at home to Leyton Orient, with Danny Hylton grabbing a hat-trick in the process.
Pools took the lead inside four minutes, but Boro hit back in style, with on-loan Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker bagging two goals on his debut for the club.
There were also big wins for Blackpool, who prevailed 3-0 at Yeovil Town, and Portsmouth, who swept Crawley Town aside by the same margin.
Exeter City took the spoils in an entertaining game at Colchester United, winning 3-2, Plymouth Argyle clinched all three points late on against Cheltenham Town and Notts County came from two-down to take a point at home to Grimsby Town.
Cambridge United remain the only side in the Sky Bet League Two yet to claim a win, and Newport County’s match with Barnet at Rodney Parade was abandoned early in the second half due to poor weather conditions. The Bees were leading 1-0 at the time of the referee's decision.
