Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 9 preview

The Sky Bet Championship kicks off the EFL weekend on Friday night when Preston North End host Wigan Athletic in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

On Saturday, leaders Huddersfield Town face a tough test against Jaap Stam's Reading. The Royals are unbeaten in their last five games, and will be happy to be back at the Madejski after back-to-back wins on the road against Barnsley and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.

Sky Sports will also be showing the late kick-off from the Sky Bet Championship, where Rafa Benitez takes his Newcastle side to face an Aston Villa side who have drawn five of their opening eight matches.
