Sky Bet League Two: Matchday 13 preview

14 October 2016

Sky Bet League Two leaders Plymouth Argyle welcome Portsmouth to Home Park on Matchday 13 in one of the stand-out fixtures.

Doncaster are second and face Colchester in a battle between two clubs relegated to Sky Bet League Two last term, and there's a new face in charge – Graham Westley makes his Newport bow at Yeovil Town.

Five facts

1. Carlisle  and Doncaster are the only teams to score in every game so far this season. The Cumbrians' opponents at Brunton Park this weekend, Hartlepool, have netted in each of their games on the road.

2. Accrington Stanley and Blackpool lock horns in the EFL for the first time on Saturday. They have met once before, a thrilling 4-4 EFL Trophy draw in 2006.

3. Cambridge and Grimsby meet in the EFL for the first time since 2004/05, when the Mariners did the double over the U's. Ten non-league meetings have taken place since, with four draws and three wins apiece.

4. Notts County are unbeaten in 10 games against Crewe ahead of their latest encounter. That run of form includes four straight wins, in which they've scored 12 and conceded just two to the Railwaymen.

5. Morecambe have never beaten Stevenage in the EFL, failing in six attempts to date. That barren run stretches back even further – you have to go back to 2005, 11 games ago, for the Shrimps' last success.

Think @Harrypell_7 & @jack_munns arguing over FIFA17 is childish? You're right - but it's also very funny!
