Peterborough United: A stray pass from Michael Bostwick goes viral

21 November 2016

Scrolling through social media on a Monday morning, reflecting on the weekend's EFL action, you expect to see stunning strikes filling your Twitter timeline.

What you perhaps don't expect to come across are countless posts about a stray pass from midfield that harmlessly goes out of play.

But that's what happened this week after Michael Bostwick managed to pick out a steward with a pass out wide in Peterborough United's Sky Bet League One match against rivals Northampton Town.

Why did he do that? Well, Posh's away shirt is fluorescent yellow, which is the same colour as the steward's coat. Poor old Bostwick thought the safety officer was a team-mate of his!

Anyway, here is the great pass in all its glory...

Enjoy!

"Left-back's on!"

"Oh no, wait, that's a steward..."
