Burton Albion secured a historic promotion to the Sky Bet Championship on the final day of the season by drawing 0-0 at Doncaster Rovers.
The Brewers knew a point would be enough to secure their rise and they achieved that in a nervy affair at the Keepmoat.Rovers were all but down going into the match, and their relegation was confirmed at full-time.
Joining them in Sky Bet League 2 will be Blackpool, who lost 5-1 at Peterborough United.
Walsall also scored five, beating Port Vale 5-0, but they had to settle for a place in the Play-Offs due to Burton’s promotion.
Bradford City, Millwall and Barnsley also go into the Play-Offs after picking up victories.
The Bantams beat Chesterfield 2-0, the Lions were 2-1 victors at home to Gillingham, while the Tykes swept aside champions Wigan 4-1.
That win for the Latics meant Scunthorpe United finished outside the top six despite winning 2-0 at Sheffield United.
