Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 38 review

Bristol Rovers clinched their sixth successive win to remain in the automatic promotion places in Sky Bet League 2 on matchday 38.

Billy Bodin scored twice to keep Rovers in the top three, while defeated opponents Cambridge United fell to 11th in the table.

Oxford United dropped two points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Stevenage at the Kassam Stadium, John Lundstram being sent off in the process.

Plymouth Argyle beat Morecambe 2-0 at the Globe Arena with Jordan Houghton and Jamille Matt both scoring their first goals for the club.

Portsmouth recorded a convincing 4-0 triumph over Notts County at Fratton Park while Accrington Stanley clinched all three points with a narrow 1-0 win over Leyton Orient.

As a result Wycombe Wanderers are back in the top seven following their 1-0 victory over Mansfield Town with Michael Harriman on target.

League leaders Northampton Town edged towards promotion after defeating Newport County 1-0 at Sixfields, while elsewhere York City and Crawley Town had to settle for a point each in a 2-2 draw.

Hartlepool United beat AFC Wimbledon 1-0, Exeter City drew 1-1 with Barnet with Yeovil Town and Carlisle United playing out a goalless draw.
