Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month nominations - February

10 March 2016

The nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for February.

Bartosz Bialkowski (Ipswich Town)

The goalkeeper produced a raft of breathtaking saves in February. A series of stops at QPR was followed by two brilliant saves at Bristol City, a fingertip flick on to the bar against Hull City and another stunning match-winning performance at Huddersfield Town.

Tom Cairney (Fulham)

Given a licence to roam, Cairney’s vision, technique and passing ability were on show in February. As well as a delightful assist against QPR, he also contributed four goals, two of them fine volleys against Charlton Athletic and Leeds United.

Aden Flint (Bristol City)

Benefitting from City reverting to a back four, the towering centre-back proved his worth at both ends of the pitch. He helped preserve three clean sheets and headed home three corners in wins over Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest.

Tomer Hemed (Brighton & Hove Albion)

February featured five goals and three assists for the Israel international as Brighton ran riot in front of goal. The fulcrum of the attack with his link-up play and intelligence, the pick of his goals was a fine header in the 3-0 win over Brentford.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
