Young Bristol City fan Oskar Pycroft set to fulfil dream

12 January 2016

When Oskar Pycroft leads out Bristol City and Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship at Ashton Gate on Tuesday, he will be fulfilling a dream of his.

Last year, when the pair met in Sky Bet League 1, Oskar led the teams out in his wheelchair and told a packed stadium that he would love to come back and walk the teams out.

That game marked the launch of his fundraising campaign, with more than £10,000 being raised on that day alone.

Oskar’s appeal went on to raise around £57,000, enabling the young Robin to have a life-changing operation in May, shortly after Bristol City had won the Sky Bet League 1 and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy double.

The youngster has gone from strength-to-strength since then and Preston’s visit to Ashton Gate on 12th January will give Oskar the perfect opportunity to fulfil his dream, and thank fans from both clubs for their support.
