Sky Bet League 1: Matchday 26 review

9 January 2016

Managerless Swindon Town came from two goals down to beat Southend United 4-2 at the County Ground on Matchday 26 in Sky Bet League 1.

A debut goal from Tyrone Barnett and an Adam Thompson header put the visitors 2-0 up inside 13 minutes, but Swindon responded to make it level the at the break, courtesy of strikes from Nicky Ajose and Jonathan Obika.

And it was those two names who fired the Robins to victory in the second half, each completing a brace to secure Swindon’s first win of 2016.
