Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 26 review

13 January 2016

Middlesbrough moved five points clear at the Sky Bet Championship summit with a 1-0 win at Brentford.

Daniel Ayala scored the only goal of the game at Griffin Park, and that was coupled with second-placed Derby drawing 1-1 with Reading.

Burnley and Ipswich both made ground in the Play-Off places after beating Milton Keynes Dons and Leeds United respectively.

The Clarets’ 5-0 success at stadiummk was their first away victory in the league since October, and their biggest since May 1947.
