AFC Wimbledon moved to within touching distance of a Play-Off place in Sky Bet League 2 with a 3-1 win over Mansfield Town on Saturday. The Dons fell behind courtesy of an early Matt Green goal but the hosts turned the game on its head in the second half with Lyle Taylor, Jonathan Meades and Adebayo Azeez all on target to help seal maximum points.
Neal Ardley's men have now gone five matches unbeaten, winning their last three, and are only outside the top seven due to an inferior goal difference.
Speaking after the game Ardley told the club website: "The boys fought for everything and that’s all you can ask for at times. It was not pretty and it was scrappy at times, but from front to back we battled. The players deserve all the credit.”
