Sky Bet League 2: Matchday 29 review

Plymouth Argyle slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Wycombe Wanderers at Home Park to stay second in the Sky Bet League 2 standings.

With leaders Northampton Town out of action, the Pilgrims could have returned to the top of the table, but stay second having also played two games more than the Cobblers.

There were two big wins at the other end of the table, as a hat-trick for Jack Compton saw Yeovil Town twice come from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon 3-2 at Kingsmeadow, and York City also stole a late winner at home to Stevenage.

In total, there were seven away wins from nine games played, with Mansfield Town, Exeter City, Cambridge United, Notts County and Newport County also securing victories.
