Sky Bet Football League: Midweek review

16 February 2016

Northampton Town moved eight points clear at the top of Sky Bet League 2 after defeating Oxford United 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium.

Marc Richards' second-half penalty was enough to seal the club's eighth successive League win and keep promotion rivals Oxford third in the standings.

At the other end of the table, York City clambered out of the relegation places after a second successive win, beating Exeter City 2-0.
