Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 33 review

27 February 2016

Burnley moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship thanks to an Andre Gray-inspired comeback at struggling Bolton Wanderers.

Liam Feeney had given Bolton the lead, but the Championship's top scorer fired two late goals to send the Clarets to the summit.

Hull played out a goalless stalemate with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night which cost them top spot, and they are now joined on 64 points by Middlesbrough, who overcame Fulham 2-0.

There was plenty of drama at the other end of the table, with MK Dons and Charlton both losing thrilling matches late in the day, while fellow strugglers Rotherham overcame Brentford to pick up three crucial points towards survival.

Bristol City continued their recent revival winning on the road at Nottingham Forest, a feat matched by Ipswich who won 1-0 at Huddersfield.

Elsewhere, there were home wins for Cardiff, QPR and Wolves - who ended a seven-match winless run by beating Derby in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
