Sky Bet Championship: Matchday 32 review

20 February 2016

Burnley moved into the automatic promotion places in the Sky Bet Championship as Brighton & Hove Albion suffered defeat in the early kick-off on Matchday 32.

Chris Hughton's side were convincingly beaten 4-1 by Cardiff City, live on Sky Sports, with Peter Whittingham bagging a brace to move the Bluebirds up to seventh in the table.

As a result Burnley seized their opportunity and moved to within a point of league leaders Hull City with a 2-0 win over Rotherham United.

Bolton Wanderers moved off the bottom of the table after drawing 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers, at the expense of Charlton Athletic, who lost 3-0 at Fulham.
