Capital One Cup Final: The world is watching

Sunday's Capital One Cup Final will see nearly 200 territories around the world broadcast coverage of the match.

With players from around the world in the Liverpool and Manchester City squads, the audience will have a global feel as people anywhere from Australia to Zimbabwe tune in to see which side will lift the famous three-handled trophy.

Back in 2014 when Manchester City won the League Cup for the third time in their history, the game set a then-record for overseas coverage of the showpiece occasion, broadcast in 176 territories.

Two years on, and the total number of territories around the globe that live coverage of the final will be beamed to has reached 192, with the game available to as many as one billion people worldwide.
