Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month nominations - November 2016

6 December 2016

The nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for November 2016.

Omar Bogle (Grimsby Town

Scoring all but two of his side’s November goals, it was the variety of Bogle’s seven in four games which really stood out. A tap-in, a flicked header, one-on-one finishes and even a 30-yard stunner into the top corner against Crawley.

Jordan Houghton (Doncaster Rovers)

The 21-year-old Chelsea loanee has become indispensable in a deep-lying midfield role. Strong in the tackle, he has the vision and a stunning array of passes to find team-mates. His goal against Orient showed that he can finish, too.

Aaron Pierre (Wycombe Wanderers

A strong physical presence at the heart of a Wycombe defence which kept three clean sheets in four games, the 23-year-old found time to make a telling contribution at the other end with two assists and a late winner at Cambridge.

Charlie Wyke (Carlisle United)

His first-ever Sky Bet EFL hat-trick, against Mansfield, was part of a six-goal haul from four games and included two headers for a player who comes alive in the box. As well as his goals, his improved link-up play has also impressed.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
