Steve Morison and Aiden O'Brien fired Millwall to a 3-1 victory against Charlton in the final EFL match before Christmas.
O'Brien opened the scoring for the Lions in the 40th minute with a header, and their lead was soon doubled by fellow front man Morison, which allowed the hosts to go in at the break seemingly comfortable. The Addicks set about getting back into the game after half-time, though, and that's exactly what they did when Nicky Ajose netted on 49 minutes.
Neil Harris' men weathered the brief storm, however, and secured the three points just after the hour mark when the experienced Morison completed his brace to make it 3-1.
The three points for Millwall means they sit just four points off the Play-Off places at Christmas, whilst Karl Robinson's men find themselves seven points adrift of the top six.
Tonight’s @SkyBetLeagueOne fixture was the last of the action before the festivities begin.
