Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month nominations - November 2016

7 December 2016

The nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for November 2016.

Graham Alexander (Scunthorpe United)

A third nomination in four months is hardly surprising with his side on course to collect 100 points and almost as many goals this season. Just to change it up, their 10-point haul from four November games included three clean sheets.

Phil Brown (Southend United)

The month began with Southend fans looking nervously towards the relegation zone. Eight points from four unbeaten games later they were eyeing the play-offs, courtesy of Brown’s calmness and belief in his squad and methods.

Justin Edinburgh (Gillingham)

Made light of difficult circumstances and stayed true to his footballing principles. He ignored the pressure building on him to guide his team to three wins in four games which lifted them to within three points of the Play-Off places.

Kevin Nugent (Charlton Athletic)

Asked to take over as caretaker-manager in difficult circumstances, Nugent made the task look easy. He inspired a stunning 5-1 win at Bristol Rovers as Charlton collected seven points from his three games in charge.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
