#10in10: Sheffield United beat Coventry City to go second in Sky Bet League One

15 December 2016

Sheffield United joined Scunthorpe United at the summit of Sky Bet League One after defeating Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday.

Two Billy Sharp strikes in each half proved the difference between the two sides, as the Blades made it back-to-back victories for the first time this month.

Daniel Agyei had brought Coventry level shortly after the break with a neat turn and finish, but defeat saw them remain in the relegation zone.

Chris Wilder's men are now level on points with the Iron, but sit second due to an inferior goal difference.
