Round Two: Match dates confirmed for Second Round

The schedule for Round Two of the 2016/17 EFL Cup has been confirmed, with ties taking place during the week commencing 22nd August 2016.

The majority of matches are being held on Tuesday 23rd August, with 19 ties kicking off at 7.45pm.

Reading versus MK Dons, meanwhile, will get started at the later time of 8pm, and Crystal Palace's game against Blackpool will start first, at 7.30pm.

One of those 7.45pm kick-offs on Tuesday has been selected for Sky Sports coverage, with the cameras heading to the Pirelli Stadium for Burton Albion's game against eight-time EFL Cup winners Liverpool.

There's more live action 24 hours later as the Sky Sports crew head to Lancashire to screen the Round Two tie between Accrington Stanley and Burnley.

That is one of four matches pencilled in for Wednesday 24th August, all kicking-off at 7.45pm.
